“I’m an expert finder”

29 Apr

We celebrated another Easter in Costa Rica.  The mission of finding white eggs proved to be a bit more challenging than last year.  We had to drive an hour (each way) to get some, but my girl is worth it.  We also continued the tradition of making paper eggs and hiding them around the house . Kyah is much better at hiding and finding this year causing her to exclaim with enthusiasm “I’m an expert finder!”.  We splurged on a roast for lunch and my dad sent me my favorite Amish gravy.   Hunting eggs and swimming until we couldn’t swim any more was how we passed our day.  Fun memories made by the Knutsons on Easter 2012.

The finished product. Egg-dying the Costa Rican way.

Is there anything she can’t do? She swims the length of the pool underwater.

We don’t do the Easter Bunny, but we still like chocolate. :) Thanks to my MIL for this little gift.

As close to home as we could get for our Easter lunch. Thanks to my dad for our awesome Amish gravy mix!

Oldie, but oh so cute!

I don’t think I ever shared this video.  Kyah spent a lot of time with these little guys and misses them so much.  I actually kinda miss them, too.
